Catch the Reading Bug!
2008 Summer Reading Program

Amateur entomologists and lovers of tiny creatures are invited to join Catch the Reading Bug @ Lewiston City Library. The 2008 Summer Reading Program is open to babies & pre-readers through elementary school, with exciting programs, prize drawings, story time, and more! Registration for the program begins on Monday, June 9, 2008.

Each participant sets their own reading goal for the summer. Goals can be in number of minutes or books. Whatever works best for YOU! Participants who complete their goal will receive a Grand Prize of their choosing.

Worm your way into the library and catch the reading bug!

Special programs include:

JUNE:

  • June 10-12: Reading Bee to appear at Story Time!
  • Sat. June 14, 11:00 am:  Going on a Bug Hunt! with Storyteller Batsy Bybell
  • Wed. June 18, 2:00 pm: BUG YOUR PARENTS!!
  • Mon. June 23, 11:00 am: Create-a-Quilt
  • Sat. June 28, 1:00 pm: Bugs! Palouse Discovery Science Center
